Mastiff temperaments can vary greatly depending on many factors. Some people though because of the size of the Mastiff automatically assume that the Mastiff would be an aggressive dog or mean animal to be around. This is not true though in my experiences with my Mastiff and other Mastiffs that I have seen and been around. Here are some tips that I have found that helped to keep my Mastiff temperament calm and very friendly around other people and animals.

The first tip that I have found that worked with my huge pets behavior is by taking him out frequently into parks and other areas that he is going to be exposed to different things and noises. That way he would not think that other people were bad and he would get used to seeing new things around him and strange noises wouldn't frighten him anymore.
